Architecture Speaks! -lecture series continues in November with new inspirational speakers. / Held in English!
The lecture series is designed and chaired by professor Jenni Reuter, Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Architecture. It is organised in collaboration with the Museum of Finnish Architecture.

7th February 2018 Petra Gipp
Swedish Architect Petra Gipp (b. 1967) is running an eponymous office in Stockholm, established in 2009. The office was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Prize in 2015 on their workshop for audiovisual design, designed in Linköping. With composer Kim Hedås Gipp collaborated on a work titled Knot, displayed at the Venice Biennale of Architecture's Nordic Pavilion in 2016.

Portuguese architect Carlos Castanheira (b. 1957) founded his office with Clara Bastain and has gained recognition in many competitions dedicated for contemporary wood architecture. He has also collaborated with architect Alvaro Siza on a selection of both international and Portugal-based projects.
