THE A&O ROOM FOR KIDS

Welcome to the A&O Room to play and learn about architecture. Our new learning space is free for all! The room is located in the ground floor of the museum and is open for visitors during the regular opening hours of the museum. No entrance fee, welcome!

Recommended ages 4 months – 2 years

The Museum of Finnish Architecture offers playful interaction for parents with small kids with the Architecture for Babies and Toddlers -workshops. The workshops are offered twice a year, both spring and autumn seasons. The next time will be in April 2017. More info soon!

GINGERBREAD CITY

THE MUSEUM SMELLS SPICY IN DECEMBER 

Our Christmas tradition is to erect a Gingerbread City. Its blocks are built by almost 300 kids from kindergartens around Helsinki. Come and take a peek! The museum will also host weekend workshops for families during December. Read more about the Gingerbread City >
