EXHIBITIONS
The museum produces exhibitions and brings international architecture exhibitions to Finland. The total floor area for changing exhibitions is ca. 260 m2. In the near future, the museum will finally be able to present a permanent exhibition of the history of Finnish architecture, as a new hall is arranged in its premises.
The exhibitions touring abroad are usually comprehensive surveys of the most important periods of Finnish architecture or presentations of our leading architects. The museum has also touring exhibitions in Finland.
The museum has had an extensive programme of exhibitions since its foundation in 1956. Up to the end of 2003, it has organised 1 269 presentations, in Finland 835 (of which 399 are tour displays) and abroad 434.
