GLENN MURCUTT, ARCHITECT

This special limited edition monograph on the work of architect Glenn Murcutt provides a rare insight into the practice and working process of Astralia's most eminent, Pritzker-prize winning architect. Housed within a handmade solander box are nine large format "volumes". The first volume is a fully illustrated book (184 pages) by architectural critic Kenneth Frampton (USA) with essays by Juhani Pallasmaa (Finland) and David Malouf (Australia). This is followed by eight individual folders which feature eight projects nominated by Murcutt as the defining milestones in his development as an architect. Each folio is handfinished and holds a photographic essay and loose-leaf sketches, plans, and drawings, at actual size (Folders: 100 pages and 72 full-size drawing sheets altogether). The book is on display at the museum bookshop where order forms are also available. For more information please visit www.01editions.com.au
