The international lecture series on contemporary architecture continues online! Six professional in the field of architecture from various backgrounds are invited to share their thoughts and ideas on current trends in architecture.

Quintus Miller was born in 1961 in Aarau, Switzerland. They studied architecture at the ETH Zürich, graduating in 1987. From 1990 to 1994, they worked as a design assistant at the EPF Lausanne and at the ETH Zürich. Since 1994, they have had their own office Miller & Maranta with Paola Maranta in Basel. They have worked as a visiting professor at EPF Lausanne from 2000 to 2001, as a guest professor at the Accademia di Architettura of the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio from 2007 to 2008, as a guest professor at the ETH Zürich from 2008 to 2010 and as a full professor for architecture at the Accademia di Architettura of the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio since 2009. Quintus Miller was a member of the commission for urban planning and architecture of the city of Luzern (2004-2008) as well as in the commission for fine visual arts in Riehen (2005-2010). They took part in the commission for historic preservation of the city of Zürich from 2005 to 2017 and of the city of Basel since 2011. Architecture Speaks! Is a lecture series curated by Associate Professor Jenni Reuter and organized by Aalto University Department of Architecture and the Museum of Finnish Architecture.
