During the autumn holiday week, the Museum of Finnish Architecture Museum Shop sells a large selection of architectural literature at discounted prices. Combine your visit with the museum library and discover the current exhibitions. The Museum of Finnish Architecture is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays.

Visit the Library
The Library of the Museum of Finnish Architecture is a specialist library open to the general public. Its collections number over 33 000 volumes, primarily consisting of loanable material and including all fields of architecture. Literature dealing with Finnish architecture is in a special Fennica collection now comprising over 9000 volumes. The Library also has an extensive periodicals collection with hundreds of titles. Besides architecture, the Library holds material concerning urban planning, landscape and garden architecture, pictorial arts and design. Read more: https://www.mfa.fi/en/collections/library/

Finnish Architecture – Biennial Review 2020 
Large Exhibition hall 4.9.2020–28.2.2021 

Finland’s biennial architectural review presents a selection of recent projects showcasing new trends and high standards of excellence in Finnish architecture. Another Generosity 
Small Exhibition hall 4.9.2020–28.2.2021 

The installation Another Generosity first displayed in the Nordic Pavilion at the 2018 Venice International Architecture Biennale, will now be premiered in Finland. The inflated installation, designed by architect Eero Lundén and his team, provokes us to examine the state of the world and architecture, and creates a place in the Museum of Finnish Architecture for us to reflect upon the future.
