Fill This Space School Programme

There are still a few places available for Fill This Space summer schools for 16-20 year olds! Apply now!

In the summer of 2022, the Museum of Finnish Architecture will host three Fill This Space summer schools for architecture and the built environment. We are looking for 16-20 year olds who are interested in reflecting and exploring architecture and the built environment together. You do not need previous experience, knowledge or skills to participate – come as you are.

Fill This Space is a five-day summer school for 16-20 year olds. During the week, you will be able to discuss issues related to architecture and the built environment together with museum and architecture professionals as well as architecture students. The summer school program is designed together according to the wishes and interests of the participants. Participants will also have access to the studio space on the first floor of the Museum of Finnish Architecture that is open to the public. We hope that you will fill this space with us!

The Museum of Finnish Architecture organizes the summer schools in collaboration with the You Tell Me Collective. The collective of architecture students and young architects aims to promote a change in thinking in the field of construction through peer learning.

“I learned a lot and got new thoughts and ideas. It was also wonderful that my questions were answered properly.”
