Wivi Lönn’s 70th birthday was celebrated in Lalluka, Helsinki, on May 20, 1942. The celebration was attended by 46 women architects from all over Finland, and a start for the Association of Women Architects Architecta. Eighty years have passed since and it is worth celebrating!
The Museum of Finnish Architecture invites you to celebrate the 150th anniversary of architect Wivi Lönn, the 80th anniversary of the Association of Women Architects Architecta, Long Live Wivi Lönn! exhibition and the opening of the Alusta Pavilion by suomi/koivisto architects on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 6 pm.
The celebratory speech will be heard by journalist and author Koko Hubara. The venue is the entire historic museum building of the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Alusta Pavilion. Music by the DJ collective Electronic Market (Elisa Katariina and Kristiina Männikkö) and festival catering by Taito Cafe can be enjoyed in the pavilion building in the courtyard of the Museum of Finnish Architecture.

Electronic Market
Electronic Market is a community and a booking agency based in Helsinki that was born in 2018 as a platform for creative curiosity, supportive collaboration and unprejudiced experimentation. At large, the group seeks to lead by example to widen the position of underrepresented artists in the music industry. Members of the community are Suski, Emma Valtonen, Linda Lazarov, Kristiina Männikkö and Elisa Katariina.
Unity is power, and music is the universal modulator.
