Groups

Ihmisiä A&Do-työpajassa Designmuseossa

You can visit the Museum of Finnish Architecture independently with your group or take advantage of paid learning and group services. The engaging, interactive, and versatile guided tours, workshops, and walking tours offered by the Museum of Finnish Architecture are an excellent way to deepen your museum visit or provide memorable moments in the world of architecture. We offer services for learners of all ages and customize content to the needs of various groups. Our learning and group services are part of educational programs and also allow for immersive experiences in the world of architecture, whether as part of educational activities or leisure time.

Preschool, school, and secondary school student groups:
Admission to the Museum of Architecture is free for preschool, school, and secondary school student groups. The admission for accompanying teachers and instructors is also free. Teachers or instructors planning a visit are welcome to explore the exhibitions for free in advance.

Other student groups:
The admission price for students at the Museum of Architecture is 12 € or the use of a museum card.

Adult groups:
The admission price for adults at the Museum of Architecture is 12/20 € or the use of a museum card.

Museum Visit with a Group

  • Admission to the first floor of the Museum of Finish Architecture is free. The A&O Room is freely accessible and located on the museum’s first floor.
  • Outerwear can be left in the coatroom or storage lockers on the museum’s first floor.
  • You can enjoy snacks in the A&O Room on the museum’s first floor. It’s a good idea to reserve the space before your visit.
  • Gender-neutral restrooms are located on the museum’s first floor. An accessible restroom is located in the museum’s basement. Changing facilities for children are available on the first floor and in the basement.
  • Move around the museum calmly and together with your group.
  • While many exhibit items cannot be touched, you are welcome to examine and photograph them. Items that can be touched are marked separately.

Teacher’s or Instructor’s Checklist

  • Familiarize yourself with the exhibition offerings either by visiting the museum for free by showing your OAJ card or online when planning your exhibition visit or utilizing the learning services.
  • Explore the guided tours, workshops, and architecture walks offered by the Museum of Finnish Architecture and book a suitable learning service for your group. Learning services can be booked during the museum’s opening hours (Tue-Sun 11 am–6 pm, Wed 11 am –6 pm) or in the morning outside of opening hours (Tue–Fri 9 am–11 am).
  • Familiarize yourself with the educational materials provided by the Museum of Architecture.
  • Check out the Museum of Architecture’s events.
  • Inform the museum’s customer service via phone or email about your independent museum visit.
  • Inform parents about the museum visit.
