Repair Demonstrations at the FIX Arena
The programme arranged at the FIX Arena of the FIX: Care and Repair exhibition invites us to collectively care for our shared environment and to engage in fixing. The versatile and open programme includes repair demonstrations, discussions, workshops, and events. Repair demonstrations can also be followed online.
ViewSite Presentation: Cultural Space Merirasti – Open House Helsinki 2024
Cultural Space Merirasti is a cultural centre established in the decommissioned chapel of Meri-Rastila. The site will be presented by Matti Jänkälä, project worker and architect at the Museum of Finnish Architecture and Design Museum, along with the cultural space producers and house artists Max Bremer and Markus Luukkonen.

Information and Action: Cleanup Event with Roskasakki – Helsinki Day 2024
Kaija and Ilkka Erkkilä, also known as Roskasakki [Litterpickers extraordinaire], have cleaned up over 2 million cigarette butts and 5000 bags of trash from Finnish cities. Roskasakki will share insights into their activities and the voluntary cleanup of public urban spaces. Following the information session, pre-registered participants will join a trash walk in the centre of Helsinki led by Roskasakki.
