Tuesday mornings for teaching groups at the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Design Museum

We welcome teaching groups* to the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Design Museum on Tuesday mornings from 9 am to 11 am.  

Groups can explore the exhibitions on their own or participate on a guided tour or a facilitated workshop. Groups are also welcome to visit during the museums’ regular opening hours. On Tuesday mornings, the museum is closed to other visitors, providing a peaceful time to explore the exhibitions, wonder together, and learn about architecture and design. 

Self-guided museum visits are free for early childhood education and care, pre-primary education, primary education, lower secondary education, general upper secondary education and vocational education groups. Guided tours and workshops are available for an additional fee. Please make a booking for your visit at least one week in advance. When making your booking, please inform us of your group’s needs and preferences for the visit. Tuesday morning visits can be booked during the school year, excluding holiday seasons for schools and educational institutions in Helsinki. The Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Design Museum offer free admission to all visitors under 18 years of age. Learning and group services are available during all museum opening hours. Teachers and instructors planning a visit can preview the exhibition free of charge.

Guided Tours
