City Home

This survey of new residential architecture in and around Helsinki comprises four essays and the presentations of some twenty examples from individual homes to entire areas. The essays deal with the history of urban habitation, the impact of town planning on apartments, and today’s city living and housing architecture. The project presentations recount the diverse and even conflicting challenges involved in designing homes.
